10 Iconic and Influential Fishing Reels

Several reels have stood the test of time, earning iconic status and playing pivotal roles in the history of angling. Here is a list, not in order. This is definitely just an opinion with some I am not totally convinced if they should be in the list.

Others such as the Mitchell 300, Penn Senator, Hardy Perfect and Orvis Battenkill, to me at least are not really debatable. As I get time I will add further details on each of the following.
